Mitt Romney: Obama's New Geopolitical Puppet ?
It has thrilled me to see Obama pull the trick out of the hat once again before a more wider audience in the last presidential debate, making Republicans' presidential hopeful, Governor Mitt Romney look like his geopolitical puppet. Asking the governor some entangling questions about his professed foreign policy which first had the propensity to drag America and her allies into war with Iran, a cold economic war with China, and deep quarrels with Russia that could result into another major conflict.
It was hard to believe that the governor could actually backtracked from his previous war cry to concord with the president's foreign policy, even after attacking the president's leniency with Islamic extremists, a defiant Russia, rising world power, China, and nuclear paranoia Iran. After firing up a complacent and conservative Republican white folks, bragging about his preparedness to lead America, and the rest of the free world into war with his perceived kind of bad guys- just like a western movie acted by his old buddy Clint Eastwood - but only to eat his track at last by agreeing with the president's diplomacy to solve critical issues in the Middle East.
Come on Governor Romney, are you a business man, or a commander in chief?
After talking about investing about a trillion dollars into war materials like ships and bombs, as if talking about investing it into the American economics, do you still think you're the man to fix the economic?
But then, why when it came time to stand up to the real issues you supported at first- getting America back to it's conservative past- probably the bitter days of civil rights abuses, or the crazy period of war mongering in the Iron Triangle- you was forced to back away from your previous jingoistic characteristic, which have already marked you out as an hollow puppet waiting for a role to be played, just like Bush was played by the frustrated ghost from his father's failed dream of a world war?
I'm afraid your failure to stick up with your own shadow has caused President Obama to now score a big heart in the hearts of the world, as it's the dream of the American Fathers. And he, Obama, come this election will definitely lead the free world into a civilize discussion, than preach your threats of war.

Show Down on Buduburam
The ongoing gang war between the infamous Nigerian/Ghanian and Liberian thugs on the Buduburam Refugee Camp have once again intensified, as the rival gangs clashed in an all out machetes war on the gap field that saw the leaders of the two groups seriously injured on Monday afternoon. The episode which actually broke out on Sunday when the leader of the Liberian thugs was caught, after several weeks of hiding, by members o the Nigerian/Ghanian group in the ghetto, and was severely flogged and chopped to the head with an ask. The violent thugs then threatened to beat up any Liberian friendly with the Liberian thugs' leader known as Dogg Pound, and put words to action the following Monday by invading the home of a friend of Dogg Pound, Mr. Willie, whom they beat up severely till his head burst open from the mortal pistol they used. They then decided to dragged the wounded body of Mr Willie through the Gap field which sparked an angry outburst from Liberians who had gathered to witness the troubling scene. It was then that a group of Liberian vigilantes came and arrested the scene, but before they could put things under control, the group of angry Liberians took hold of the leader of the Nigerian/Ghanian thugs known as Bangee, a Nigerian internet schemer, and flogged him with sticks and rocks till he went unconscious.
However, the group of vigilantes were able to finally control the situation by turning the case over to the police who are now holding the wounded Bangee as suspect for attempted murder, while Mr. Willie, Dogg Pound, and some other members from both groups who were also caught up in the fight seek medical attention at the Buduburam health facility. According to Mr. Willie, who i met in a very critical condition at the hospital in agony, he is going to pursue the matter legally. But many Liberians doubt that anything is going to come out of the matter, as they claimed that Bangee have boasted on several other occasions, after being let out of a police station for other serious crimes, that he has a very strong connection with the police.
With several hidden members of the Nigerian/Ghanian thugs threatening to retaliate, Liberians are now worry about what may further unfold. The leader of the Liberian thug, Dogg Pound was also seen around the scene later with his wounds, and heard saying, he is going to make sure that Bangee and his group pay severely for his wound when he find any one of them. Meanwhile, another Nigerian member of the group known as Biggie Small is on the run from both the police and the Land guard members for flogging one land-guard last week.
With all the uncertainty around this latest gang war on the Liberian refugees camp, many Liberians, especially those refugees who have no ID to enable them take part in the ongoing UNHCR's repatriation process are expressing their fear of what may happen when UN finally withdraw from the camp.
London's Glorious Moment: Igniting the Flame of Brotherhood
London has not only stunned its critics, but has scintillated to its
glorious moment by successfully staging the world most spectacular
sports festival.Certainly , the the London's 2012 Olympic and
Paralympic events have justified it's billion dollars budget that was
questioned by critics who saw it as being wasteful. The success of the
London's Calling was its ability to bring together more than 200
nations, and close to a thousand athletes to compete in several exiting
games under the most peaceful atmosphere. Even in the midst of constant
terrorist threats, the harmonious aura of the games put to rest doubts
from critics like the American politicians Mitt Romney. The friendly
presence of the British military, called in at the last moment did even
more better to assure the athletes and supporters of their security,
after the failure of the private security firm to live up to it's
mandate to provide security for the games.
But the real magic came from the British people; their enthusiasm, insatiable appetite, and wild spirit for sports made them the perfect host for the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic games, which saw a record sales of tickets. With the unity displayed by both athletes and supporters for six weeks, and with the infusion of the African music festival, London had seemed like Paradise on earth. And for once the idea of global peace seemed a reality achievable. As the crowd chanted names like Usain Bolt, Mo Farrah, Jessica Ennis, Katie Ledecky, Michael Phelps, and Oscar Pistorius , the Blade Runner, nothing could be compare to the excitement that engulfed the 80,000 seats Olympic Stadium. And there couldn't have been any better scene in the world than London.
Indeed, London has changed the history of these games, and have raised the bar to another whole new level that many nations are going to find difficult to reach. But most importantly London will be remember for the way it has redefined peace in our time, ignited the flame of the spirit of brotherhood in a world full of hate, segregation and mass terror by successfully hosting both the Olympic and Paralympic games. Surely this was London in its glorious moment!

Mitt Romney's Scary Sermon: Taking America back to it's Conservative Past
Face of the KKK |
What I couldn't understand was why would Clint choose to cap his Oscar performances over the years with a racist play directed by Mitt Romney. And as Mr. Romney talked about his kind of American dream, and returning America to its conservative past, I couldn't stop my mind from wandering into that conservative past along with the Republican man. And what I saw disturbed me greatly. I saw a past deep with the wounds of racism inflicted by the Ku-Klux-KLan which was a religion and law unto themselves. I saw a past filled with the deceit and hypocrisy bred by the CIA which proudly orchestrated series of clandestine operations that ended up in fiasco that led to the death of several thousand people around the wold, including Americans themselves.I saw a past when America's allies like Israel, wary of its continuous paranoia and trauma from the Holocaust, heartlessly violate human rights with impunity.
Whatever Mr. Romney means, with his suburb class act in Florida, one does not need a special gift of discernment to get his actual message, which sequentially connected every act: " It's time to take our county back from these modern immigrants, and continue from where we stopped!" Of course, MR. Romney represents the conservative Republicans that labeled itself 'The Tea Party Movement', a brand of fiery white majority that believed that America committed a grave offense against it self when it elected Mr. Obama, a back man, to the presidency. A white friend of mine from America, visiting Liberia, told me on the day that Barrack Obama was sworn into office that she strongly believed that he was the wrong man, in the wrong place, at the wrong time. As a student of history, I strongly opposed her view, because I saw the decision coming a long time.
Let me take your minds back to the 60's, the period of the civil rights Movement. A young, smart Black American named Dr. Martin Luther King made a startling revelation that would change the course of the American society forever. He discovered a powerful truth hidden in a simple sentence inscribed by the Founding Fathers of America in the American Constitution: " We hold these truth to be self evidence that all men are created equal." And using it as his only justification for the right to exist as a man, he went on to win his non violent war against racism and inspire millions of people, not only in America, but from around the world.
A black protester being dragged by US police |
So today, people like Mr. Obama can decide to run for the presidency in a nation that calls for equal opportunity for all people regardless of you religious creed, sex, or ethnic background, as long as you subscribe to the American democracy. And this was suppose to be the American Dream.
And Mr. Obama is not a wrong man, in the wrong place, at the wrong time; he is part of the very American Dream that Mr. Romney keeps alluding to.But Mr. Romney and his associates thinks it's a curse, so they are set to launch the most ruthless campaign against the Democrat, accusing the black president of not doing anything to solve the American's job problem and fixing a Republican damaged economic.

L.I.B. Free Talk
'LIB Free Talk' is a paradox of the day to day affairs in post war Liberia. It is a drama about three friends, Che-che-poley, Dropping-figuel, and Too-open who meets regularly at the Altai (Chinese gunpowder tea) center to argue and analyze the latest gossip around town, which, according to Liberians, has some truth behind it.

On Israel Plan to Attack Iran
As I sat listening to the purported plan of Israel to attack Iran being reviewed on BBC, I was quite
thrilled with the dramatic details that rendered me totally speechless,
as if i was watching a Hollywood Thriller of Tom Clancy's wildest
imagination.
What have this world come to? I asked myself. And pondered, haven't people realized that this is the twenty first century, the age of wisdom, and not the old days of religious hypocrisy that divides us as a people?
For the Free World to sit and watch Israel attack Iran, or even plan to attack Iran is something I find hard to comprehend. Such plan is a ghastly recipe for international catastrophe and has the propensity to drag the rest of the Free World into a nonsensical religious war, believe me, where Christians would be bond to help Israel, and Muslims, Iran.
Somebody tell me if this is not Armageddon!!!!
This plan is a doom's day conspiracy that needs to be condemn by the Free world.

As UNHCR Repatriates Liberian Refugees From Ghana, Buduburam Refugee Camp Becomes Gangster Paradise
As the ongoing UNHCR's repatriation exercise for Liberian refugees living in Ghana draws to an end, there is a growing threat of insecurity amongst thousands of Liberians still living on the Buduburam Refugee Camp in Ghana without UNHCR's identification cards, and those who have not yet made up their minds to be repatriated. Over the past months, there have been incessant acts of violence in the refugee settlement as UNHCR rounds up its operation to repatriate thousands of Liberian refugees, many of whom have sold their homes to Ghanians and other foreigners in search of cheap dwellings. But as it's turned out, most of these cheap homes' buyers are local and foreign gang members wanted by the Ghanian National Police. And with the mass repatriation exercise finally coming to an end, the camp has now become a gangster paradise ruled by motorbike riding thugs who attack people at broad day light for money or phones, and break into houses at night.
previously, a gang war sparked out between two rival gangs, the infamous Ghanian/Nigerian thugs that now control the camp and a handful of Liberian thugs, over the flogging of one of its members. The precarious situation which saw several young men severely wounded and more than a million Cedis worth of properties destroyed hardly arouse the police interest. And about a week ago another violent clash erupted between two local armed gangs, and led to the shooting to death of one of the gangs' members who pulled out a pistol at the police officers who had come in to intervene after the episode had lasted about an hour.
With several thousands families now repatriated, the once bustling camp now looks like a ghost town at night. More than a thousand Liberian Refugees without UNHCR's identification cards, who are unqualified for any of the two programs, and still residing on the camp, are now living in constant fear, as the UNHCR's repatriation program draws to a close. Already, UN has warned that it will not be responsible for the well being of any Liberian refugee who had not made the choice to repatriate or locally integrate. And even those who opted for the local integration package are worried about the slow process their option is being looked at.
